Director’s Message

Programs Offered

Foundation Studies is geared to assist in developing values, attitudes, sensorial skills and aesthetics sensitivity necessary for specialization in design. It introduces students to the fundamentals of design and orients students to thinking of design as a creative problem-solving process.
Foundation Studies
The program inculcates the development of rich design sensibility with process-oriented learning through the open exchange of ideas embodied in a studio culture which helps develop an individual’s perspective, critiques, visual literacy, media influence, experiential learning, and innovative outcomes.
 
Communication Design
The program emphasizes functional, safe, and sustainable product design with a holistic curriculum. It equips students with skills for innovative products that meet user needs while considering environmental impact and manufacturing feasibility. The teaching blends theory, practice, and research-based approaches, offering real-world experience through projects and industry collaborations.
Industrial Design
This program offers a comprehensive approach to meet the diverse needs of the textile, fashion, lifestyle and interior design industries. The curriculum encompasses a wide range of subjects with a focus on both textile product development and apparel design. By blending creativity, technical expertise, industry knowledge, sustainability and ethical practices the students are prepared to excel in the dynamic and evolving world.
