Mr. S. A. Raj
S. A. Raj is a designer, visual thinker, and educator working at the intersection of communication, interaction, and systems. He holds an M.Des in Visual Communication and Interaction Design from IIT Kanpur and a Bachelor’s degree in Design from NIFT Hyderabad. With over a decade of experience across digital products, fintech platforms, and brand ecosystems, his practice integrates conceptual rigor with executional clarity.
Grounded in the discipline of continuous sketching, Raj believes that sustained practice is the foundation of mastery. For him, drawing is not merely representation but a method of thinking, structuring, and refining ideas. His interests include information experience design, systems thinking, human-AI collaboration, and the evolving role of design in shaping perception, behavior, and culture.
At NID Madhya Pradesh, he serves as Faculty in Communication Design, where he mentors students toward intellectual depth, visual precision, and independent authorship, cultivating designers who think critically and create with intent.
