Dr. Rakesh Keshavrao Vidhate
Dr. Rakesh K Vidhate has been associated with NID as a full-time faculty since 2022. He holds a Ph.D. and Masters in Production Engineering and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. He has more than 20 years of experience.
He holds several important responsibilities at NIDMP. As the Head of the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell, he oversees the protection, management of intellectual property assets within the institute. He has actively worked to facilitate Intellectual Property (IP) proposal and awareness amongst designer fraternity at NIDMP. Additionally, he serves as the President of the Institution’s Innovation Council, promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. As the Activity Vice-Chairperson of the Knowledge Management Centre, he ensures efficient knowledge sharing and dissemination within the institution.
He is passionate about mentoring the students on design & technical intricacy in prototyping the design project.
