Mr. Anirudha Biswas
Anirudha Biswas is an interdisciplinary designer, design educator and researcher with over 10+ years of experience across industrial and furniture design, UX strategy, product design, design system and design education.
He has worked across industry and academia with organisations including Tata Elxsi/Tata Motors, Innoviti Industry, Godrej & Boyce, JK Lakshmipat University, Pearl Academy and the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. His work spans product development, user research, CMF design, experience strategy and curriculum development.
His teaching and research interests include industrial and product design, furniture design, experience strategy, design system, ergonomics, CMF, human-centred design, and design pedagogy. He is also interested in the application of emerging technologies and AI in design practice and education.
He has received international recognition including the Red Dot Design Award (2017,2023) for Interaction Design( US)/UI/UX and for MATI, a sustainable seating design, and the World Bamboo Congress Korea Award (2015) for sustainable bamboo product design.
He holds an M.Des in Industrial Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, a B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
