Mr. Dheeraj Chugh
Mr. Dheeraj Chugh is a designer with specialization in Product Design. He completed his Master’s degree in Product Design from MIT Institute of Design, Pune, in 2014. He pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering from the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal, in 2010.
Soon after completing his Master’s in Product Design, he began working as a Product Designer at Studio Alternatives in Pune, where he was introduced to the concept of upcycling. Designing upcycled products and conducting workshops on upcycling gradually developed his interest in academics, leading him to join Pathways World School Aravali as a Design and Technology Teacher.
He has around 10 years of experience in the design and education field. He enjoys teaching courses such as Material Exploration, Model Making, and Form & Nature to Foundation and Industrial Design students. Additionally, he has a keen interest in research, which has led him to pursue a PhD in Design Education from Avantika University.
