Ms. Setu Sharma

Dr. Setu Sharma is an accomplished communication designer and dedicated design educator with extensive experience in teaching visual arts and design. Since the inception of the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh in 2019, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation. She holds a post-graduate degree with specialization in visualization and campaign planning from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and she has recently completed her Ph.D. in the field of visual arts. Her academic journey is complemented by a rich portfolio of published research papers and presentations at both national and international conferences.

With nearly a decade of experience in teaching and research across various academic roles, Dr. Sharma brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her current position as a faculty member in the Communication Design Discipline at the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh. Her areas of research interest encompass Design thinking, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, and Graphic Design. She is passionate about fostering creative thinking and equipping students with the skills and insights needed to thrive in the dynamic field of design.
