Ms. Swati Vyas
Swati Vyas is a textile designer and academician, with an experience of 18 years in field of design and fashion. She is Associate Senior Faculty in Textile and Apparel Design Discipline at National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh. She was associated with National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bhopal as Assistant Professor from last 10 years. She has done her Graduation with specialization in Clothing and textiles from Rajasthan Agricultural University Bikaner, Rajasthan while Post graduation diploma (2008) in Textile Design from National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She is Pursuing Ph.D. from department of Design, Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur. She has done various publications in national and international journals and seminars.
She has keen interest in textile craft studies, surface manipulation and print design. She has industrial exposure with design studios, export house, and design projects with both government and non-government organizations. This experience is resourced to mentor and guide design students during her journey as academician.
